Good news for fashionistas and British fashion enthusiasts; Victoria Beckham has cut dress prices by almost 40% to adapt to the post-pandemic lifestyle. The stylish fashion designer wants her luxury brand to emerge from these challenging times with simpler designs and more affordable prices to match people’s disrupted budgets. As a result, Victoria Beckham expects to boost sales, broaden her customer base, and ensure the future of her brand.
VB Pre Spring/Summer 2022
Victoria Beckham has just launched a new collection with fewer embellished fabrics. Consequently, the sleek yet simpler silhouettes allowed her to cut prices. Nevertheless, she created elevated pieces that are, at the same time, elegant and easy to wear. For example, slip dresses and oversized knits in beautiful colours like bubblegum pink and yellow.
The designer and mother-of-four explained that “When I was pregnant with Harper, I wore very different clothes, and after she was born it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to wear. Coming out of the pandemic feels a bit like that. I really embraced a more relaxed way of dressing during the lockdown, and that changes what I want to wear now“.
Right now, it feels a bit like that moment after you had a baby, and you can’t remember what you wore before you were pregnant.
Victoria Beckham
Certainly, the Pre Spring/Summer 2022 collection dresses and colour combinations are as chic as Victoria Beckham can be, and we love them. But, sadly, it seems the designer didn’t get the memo about being more inclusive regarding body shapes. Consequently, many complained on Instagram, saying they wanted to see healthier-looking models.
For now, you can see the new collection in individual appointments at Victoria Beckham flagship store in London. Meanwhile, we scoured the online shops to handpick the best Victoria Beckham dresses with cut prices, so here are affordable pieces to buy now.
