One-piece swimsuits
Go for bold neon swimwear. Otherwise, pastel colours are also on-trend. One-piece swimsuits, for obvious reasons, are definitely what you should wear for water sports. And they’re also flattering, for every body-type.
Retro bikinis
If you prefer two-piece swimwear, choose the ones that have bikini bottoms with high rise silhouettes and sporty tops. Small string bikinis won’t do it for water sports. As for patterns, florals and animal prints are going to be big this summer.
Fashionable wetsuits
For high-speed sports like waterski and wakeboard, wear Cynthia Rowley wetsuits. The American surf-leisure brand makes chic wetsuits with geometrical patterns and beautiful colour combinations. Additionally, Rowley’s wetsuits are sustainable, made in recycled materials and with green technology. Still thinking about what to wear this summer at the lake? What to wear this summer when on a boat
If you’re spending the day on a sailing boat, make sure to bring along two swimwear, and a kaftan or a t-shirt with long sleeves and a hat to help protect your skin against overexposure to the sun.
